When you go to Google to search for flooring news, tips, and articles, it can be a shotgun blast of information. Some of the sites are just one article where you can read it and then all you can do is browse a manufacturer’s website. Other places are flooring magazines, but they don’t put the articles online, you have to either download a PDF or order their paper magazine to read the flooring news, tips, or articles. It is frustrating to say the least for the person just trying to figure out how to proceed with a flooring job.
Below are a list of places we feel are very article rich with flooring information. Some are from well-known reputable flooring companies, and others are just blogs. But when you inspect them, the ideas on flooring are limitless and worth checking, searching, and reading for your flooring help.

Floor Trends is an official magazine publication that also releases its flooring articles online. It is based out of Troy, Michigan and covers carpet, resilient, tile & stone, hardwood, laminate, specialty, area rugs, installation products, installation equipment, and residential flooring.
It is the online version of the Floor Focus Magazine. Based out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, they cover flooring news, flooring case studies, flooring in-depth reports, and interviews of flooring influencers.
Hardwood Floors Magazine is the premier publication for the National Wood Floors Association (NWFA), of which Concierge Flooring is a certified member and contributor. Based out of Madison, Wisconsin, they cover bamboo flooring, basic wood floor installation, custom installation how-tos, factory-finished wood flooring, moisture & wood floors, recoating & refinishing, stains & dyes, subfloor prep & underlayment, stairs, moldings & vents, wood floor finishing, wood floor machine & tool maintenance, and wood floor sanding. Probably the best wood flooring resource on the web.
Floor Covering Weekly is both a paper and digital publication that covers a wide range of flooring topics on a weekly basis. They go to and publish a great deal of flooring events which are readily available on their website. Those flooring events are in places like Abu Dahbi, UAE, Hanover, Germany, and Orlando, Florida. Based out of New York City, New York, they cover topics like wood, laminates, carpet & area rugs, tile & stone, and resilient.
Better Homes and Garden is a very popular home self-help resource that has their own magazine as well as online articles. We found their “Flooring” category, which isn’t a formal section, but is more like a page that lists all of the flooring-related articles they have published. It is a very good resource for flooring ideas with colorful pictures and lots of creativity. Better Homes and Garden is owned by the Meredith Corporation and is based out of New York City, New York. House Logic has a plethora of house building resources, flooring being a major section. Based out of Chicago, IL, they have a great deal of flooring experts on staff who keep publishing articles on a continuous basis that are sure to help you with your flooring needs.
